Beer Can Chicken
Beautifully cooked and deliciously flavored for a perfect, simple-to-prepare meal, we consider Beer Can Chicken a grilling experience and a classic when hosting family and friends!

Directions

1) Add a favorite rub to one or more CDF Broad Breasted Whole Chicken(s). 

2) One rub option could be: rosemary, thyme, garlic, paprika, salt & pepper, and a little olive oil. Add these to a mini-food processor. Adjust seasoning to taste!

3) In a grilling pan, position the chicken onto stands (aka: tubes, roasters, tallboy beer cans) filled with beer. You can also fill the stands with broth, soda, juice, water, wine, hard cider, liquid with herbs, even baked beans... lots of options!)

4) Heat the grill to 500°and cook the chicken at this temp for 15 minutes, then lower it to 300° for the remaining two hours or until internal temperature reads 165°.

5) Violà! After the grill has done most of the work in this simply prepared recipe, it's time to enjoy!
